I'm Katja and I've been the proud owner of the Vertrouwen since 2002.
I love nature and like to be in the fresh air. Preferably sailing or hiking. My profession is my passion and I am happy to share it with you. As a guest on board of the Vertrouwen, you benefit from my many years of experience, visible enthusiasm and a fast, comfortable and well-supplied ship.
With a lot of love and an eye for detail, the interior design has been given a new shape to ensure you have a very comfortable stay
I sail not only in the Netherlands and not only with traditional flat-bottomed ships, but all over the world. Nevertheless, I consider the Wadden Sea to be the most beautiful cruising area.
As an ambassador of the Wadden Sea, I am happy to inspire you with the special features of this fantastic nature reserve with its beautiful islands with miles of sandy beaches, cosy towns and its rich cultural history.
With a draught of only 80 cm, the Vertrouwen is particularly suitable for sailing on the dynamic tidal waters of the Wadden Sea. When the other ships are already stuck on a sandbank, we sail on happily.
